We had our first snow of the season today. How fun! Brady really seemed to get it too. The snow fall started around 8 AM while we were making breakfast and I said, "Brady look outside! What do you see?" He said, "It's raining!" Then quickly followed that with, "It's not raining!" but wasn't sure what it was. I said, "It's snowing outside." When Brett came downstairs, he was the first to announce, "It's snowing outside Daddy!"
We skipped our last soccer class and went out in the snow to Target to buy a sled. Brady liked wearing his snow boots (with football players that light up on them- double bonus!) and stomping around. At first he said, "I no like that! My face!" because the snow was getting in his face. Then I told him to close his eyes and stick out his tongue to catch the snowflakes. He thought that was just a riot and was squealing with delight!
Even more fun was using a "little broom" to sweep snow off the car. So much so that Brady was scooping up snow and putting it ON the car, just to be able to sweep it off. ;p Then he got to hold the "little broom" all the way to Target. whoohoo!
As soon as we got home, the boys had to take the sled for a test run.
