Labor Day

There wasn't much laboring going on today...but isn't that what this day is for? Brett was gone all day at the Hokie opener @ Redskins stadium. Even though the game was local (and began @ 8 PM) I think he was gone longer than when they drive to Blacksburg for a Hokie home game. He left @ 10 AM to tailgate all day and then watch the game. 'Tis the season! :)
The kids and I had a great morning hanging out and playing.

In the afternoon we played at Dinosaur Park with Grandma and Papa. I had wanted to get NC BBQ (which is right up the rode from the park) for dinner, but it was closed early for Labor Day. Brady piped in and said, "The BBQ house is closed. The pancake house is Open!" And so he decided we'd have IHOP for dinner tonight. Thanks for making that easy, pal.
