Kids Fun Run

Brady stepped (ha!) it up today and ran his first one-miler.  Way to go kid!  Of course, running with his pals is just plain fun for him.  The kids are in green to support #FightHardy...and so we could easily spot them. ;p  The race is right in the Broadlands...so we scooted down to the starting line.
"On your mark, get set, GO!"
You did it!  Way to go boys!
Brady beamed and waved when he saw us...love that!
Apparently the one-mile was not enough exercise for these boys,
they were doing push-ups together afterward.
Yumm!  Bananas, oranges, and of course Cupcakes at the finish line!
Enjoy!  You earned it, boys! (and sister, you're just cute and love cupcakes so much!)

Post-race play while we wait for the raffle
Their big brothers are calling them BFFLM's...Best Friends Forever Love Marriage
They like to play this game with Kristin and I, They shout, "Take our picha!" and then squeal and hide.  Kristin got them though!  Cutie-cakes!

Snow/Ice Cream

I've been meaning to make ice cream from snow with the kids for some time now.  Poor Brady is passed out on the couch with his headache.  But after watching Frozen for the 300th time (we all still love that movie!), sister and I made some "green snow" with the green bottle Lucky left for her.  (Who knew that green food coloring would elicit such giggles?!)
Then we gathered some clean white snow and brought it inside to make snow cream.  Yumm!

"Happy Leprechaun Day!"

As the kids call it.  :)  We have a snow day today...and I'm actually pretty grateful b/c we have fun stuff to do; it's nice to not have to rush around before school (b/c I honestly did not know how we were going to do that!)  They didn't catch the leprechaun, but he did leave them a note, Lucky Charms, and then led them on a green scavenger hunt to find his special pot of gold (chocolates) and a bottle of green water to make green snow!
 No pinching the stuffies!
This was about when Brady's headache started.  :(  He then spent the entire day sleeping on the couch and then was home sick the next day. :(
 Happy Leprechaun Day!
