Power Shopping Pastimes

Brett "power shops" (as he calls it) Every year at Christmas time. He likes to wait until the last few days and then hit the mall. Even in 2007 when Brady was 3 days old, he went out on Dec. 23 to do some shopping. This year was no exception. So while he and Grandma shopped, Brady, Papa, and I kept busy- walking the mall, playing at the playground, and reading books in Old Navy and Borders.

Afterward we all went to dinner at Red Lobster. Brady was a well-behaved dinner companion and got to see the live lobsters. When he did, he said, "Oh! Look it! Dinosaurs!" and Daddy said, "Those aren't dinosaurs. They're lobsters." So when Papa came over to see them, Brady said, "They not dinosaurs Papa! They lobsters!" clearing any confusion Papa may have had. ;p When one of the employees took the lobster out and asked Brady if he wanted to pet him, Brady declined saying, "No. He bite me. Ouch!" :)
