The Enchanted Forest

It seems to be a fundraising weekend...and we are having so much FUN! :) Today we went to the JNLV Enchanted Forest. They had a bunch of Christmas trees decorated and in a silent auction. There were also some neat kids' activities. It was nice to get a holiday preview and get in the spirit a little bit!

I thought we were going to have trouble...b/c who do we run in to Immediately upon entering?! The Chik-Fil-A cow dressed as Santa. Yikes! But Brady waved from a polite distance (while clinging to Daddy) and we moved on. haha!

I love Brady's face in this one: whoa.

Of course, the Nick Jr. tree got my and the kids' attention. :)


There was a Hokie game on tv today (hence the gear)
and there were 2 Hokie trees in the auction.

The model train room fascinated us all.
Even Sylvie woke up and took it all in.

Afterward, we took a napless Brady and a starving Daddy next door to Chili's for a late lunch. Brady was a little crazy (sans nap), but his little hungry-hippo sister was amazing! Good thing we ordered Sylvie her own meal! She ate almost an entire grilled cheese herself!
