We decided to go to the fall fest @ Temple Hall Farm today. Unfortunately upon arrival, we were informed that the festival actually closed last weekend but we were welcome to walk around the farm. Cool, b/c that's exactly what we wanted to do...see the animals! First up, we saw the turkeys. There were some Giant ones!
Then we visited a bunch of cute piglets and some big mama pigs.
We got Sylvie out of the stroller for a closer look.
She was having a great time standing with her bro, holding on to the fence, and watching the piglets...
...until one came too close. oh so sweet! Brady just wanted to pet him. But Sylvie burst in to (the sweetest) tears. poor baby girl
Then we saw these Ginormous horses, pretty sure they were Clydesdales. They were mammoth and so beautiful!
They were all so gentle. This guy ate the corn right off the cob when the boys held it for him. He was also was pressed up against the fence eating the grass outside his space. The creaking of the fence as it was pushed to its limit against all that weight was a little unsettling though.
There were a bunch of cows, but they were eating pretty far out in the pasture. I think it was a safe distance for Brady though. :) An ole' Bessie-looking one did come for a closer look.
Brett made fun of me for "always taking pictures of our backs." But I love it- it's so cute to see little b and Big B. (and there's no "look at the camera, say cheese" begging required!) Also, I was thinking about this photo that I took at the same place last year:
You can see how much Brady's grown. He used to be below Brett's waist and now he's above it.
The little man is definitely growing UP!
