When I dropped Brady off at pre-school this morning, Miss Emilie, who was his teacher in the Sweet Peas classroom for a bit, told me this story. Currently she is 39 weeks pregnant. She was visiting Brady's classroom yesterday and he said to her very matter-of-factly, "You got a baby in your belly." "Yes, I do," she replied. He asked her how she slept at night. She asked him if he slept on his tummy or back. He replied that he did both. She admitted that it was getting hard to sleep b/c she mostly had to sleep on her side. She said she could see him working this out in his brain. After giving it some thought, he offered her a solution--
"Why don't you take your baby out and put it in a crib to sleep? Mommy puts Sylvie in her crib when we sleep and she can't get out until Mommy goes and gets her."
Is he not awesome?! I love it when he demonstrates complex thinking and application and reconciliation of things he already knows.
