Happy 2nd Birthday Aidrek!

Today we braved a freak winter storm (2 days before Halloween!) to celebrate Aidrek's birthday. Aid's party wraps up our October birthday grand tour...7 super fun birthdays celebrated this month! (Colton, Maya, Haylie, Cameron, Papa, Allie, and Aidrek) The party was at the Tally Ho Theater and the kids got to wear their Halloween costumes. Sylvie is Pebbles Flintstone and insisted on her "pink socks" that were Not part of her costume when she saw my knee-high socks. Once it's set, there's no changing this little girl's mind. Brady is "blue Spiderman." His Spidey costume is reversible. He wore the red side to school earlier this week and will likely be normal red Spidey for Halloween. But today, he said he wanted to be "blue Spiderman."

This was absolutely hilarious. Avi was Batman, but asked for a Spiderman face. When it was Brady's turn and he was asked what kind of face paint he wanted, he says, "Batman." So we have Batman with Spiderman face and Spiderman with Batman face. :p

Immediately following, Avi took Brady up to the bathroom so they could each see their faces in the mirror.

I love how the face paint accented Brady's big beautiful brown eyes.

Just like their Daddy, these kids Love popcorn. This picture cracks me up- Brady shoveling the popcorn in with his fingers; Sylvie with her head tilted back to get the max amount in her little mouth; Brett holding the bag, hoping the kids don't eat it All so he can have some! :p

Sylvie and our host, Aidrek (what a handsome little devil!) are watching Elmo from the balcony seats.

Yup, that's Sylvie's 7th slice of birthday cake this month- and every time, she thoroughly enjoys it! The red Elmo icing makes this picture look a bit too "Halloween-ish." :p

On our way back home (it's Still snowing!), I look back and see the cutest face with those big brown eyes and lizard winter hat. He was also exhausted from running around with Avi and happy to play with the prizes in his goody bag. sweet moment, sweet boy.
