Hokies Head to Blacksburg

The Luhring boys went to Blacksburg for a Hokie home game today. This was Daddy's first game of the 2010 season and Brady's first game ever! SO Fun!

Daddy said Brady did Great! I noted that he was Super excited as they were pulling out of the driveway. Brett said Brady watched a DVD for a little bit during the over 4 hour car ride. Then they stopped for lunch, and after that Brady slept the rest of the way to the 'Burg.

They had fun at the game. Brady later told Papa that he didn't love "the guns b/c they were scary" (the cannons that are fired when the Hokies score). It seems the nachos and cheese made up for that unpleasant experience though! (it's what he told me about when they called on their way home. Those nachos sure did make an impression on him!)

Hokies had such a lead at half time, that the fellas decided to go downtown to hang out and watch the game on tv. Apparently Brady had an excellent time consuming beverages with the boyz. ;p
