Open Fire

We went to the Fire Dept. Open House this morning. What a Blast! We climbed a ladder and went down a giant slide, played on the fun bus, got to ride on a fire truck (!), and shoot water out of the fire hose. We thought Brady would love that (since he totally loves playing with the garden hose at home), but it was nearing nap time and he was coming down off the excitement of all the other fun.

I was excited for the bouncy slide (I didn't get to go last time.) Yes, we were totally holding up the line to get to the top of the slide, but this was the Best part for Brady. "Climbing the ladder" was even more fun for him than going down the slide was! Daddy even let him go by himself again.

Riding the fire truck made Brady, Brett, AND me giddy! It was So cool! Even Sylvie seemed to have a good time- the wind didn't bother her like it usually does. What a fun morning!
