FavDay- April 17

M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E I had little man in this adorable Mickey Mouse t-shirt and sweatshirt today. They were both steals from a consignment sale and I just had to take some pictures. The sweatshirt hood actually has mouse ears. I wish they would have stood up a little better but still, very cute!

He began the day outside doing a little yard work. He loves his shovel almost as much as he loves balls.

Then we headed to the Little Tykes Gym class we are signed up for over the next couple of weeks. It was very similar to the indoor playground. Brady was the oldest one there (most were just about one year old; he's 16 months) and he ran circles around many of them. ;p Again, despite a whole bunch of toys to play with, Brady gravitated to the dozens of balls available. He was also excited about the bubbles and seemed to be the only one who really knew what was going on. He shouted, "Bubboo! Bubboo!" and plowed through a couple kids in pursuit of the bubbles- doh! At the end of the class, he got his first stamp...a Mickey Mouse one! How appropriate! You can sort of see it in the picture of him in the chair. He saw the little person chair and said, "Seat? Seat!" Okay, not exactly one of the toys in this gym, but if you say so, sure!

Afterward, we visited with the geese that were outside. Brady didn't want to get too close to them, but it was such a pretty scene and the weather was awesome- so we have a few picts.

Then we went to Target to pick up a few things. I realized when Brady started asking for his "Milk? Milk?" (he says the word now and often signs it while saying it too) that I left his sippy cup with milk sitting on the counter at home. Doh! Good thing we're at Target where they sell milk and good thing I keep extra straws in the diaper bag. Sweet! We were all set. This was the first time Brady had milk through his straw. Previously it had only been water and was fine when it got all over the place. Turns out it is fine when milk gets all over the place too- haha!

I stepped away from Brady and the cart for a second and I hear the streaming sound of milk and Brady saying, "Uh. Oh." It was actually pretty funny because my brain slowly registered what was going on...I was listening to milk splashing and staring at the steady stream. So what did I do? Pick up the milk to stop it from pouring all over my kid's jeans, the shopping cart, and the floor? No. I grabbed the camera and took a picture. haha! Brady was SOAKED, as was the seat of the cart. So he got another "first" in and was able to enjoy the shopping cart ride standing in the basket. Fun! Of course, we have pictures of it. ;p

The afternoon was warmer so the MM sweatshirt made way for the MM t-shirt and more yard work.

Must be a "Y" chromosone thing...the boy loves the garage too. Of course, what kid wouldn't when there's all these fun "toys" of Daddy's in here? :)
