We spent the weekend in the mountains of Wintergreen Resort with the Abrahams. Brady gave the parents of super sweet Eashan a dose of what the true reality of living with a toddler boy is like. lol! In his defense, he was pretty sick- running a fever for three days which evolved to congestion and coughing (and I'm sure body aches, which I had as I was a little sick too- ugh!). But still, there were moments that I felt like I had an "exhausted parent unable to control wild child" sign on me that was being highlighted by the light from Eashan's halo. LOL! :)
After getting settled in, we took our "all-terrain strollers" on a wilderness hike. Below Brett shows how rough the trail could actually be...there truly were moments when all three wheels were not on the ground and the daddies were working hard to off-road with their sons.
We tried to take a few pictures on the chair lift with the awesome mountain views in the background, but Brady was too busy wanting to run up and down the incline to sit still and cooperate for them.
Later on that evening, Brady shared his crayons with Eashan and they worked on a joint masterpiece. SO cute!
We attempted to give the boys a bath together in the cottage's one tub, but I think Brady's body aches were really bothering him. He usually loves his bathtime, but tonight he was just too uncomfortable. Between the fresh mountain air, all the day's activity, and not feeling well- little man was more than ready for bed. Nigh-night!
