KG Winter Party

It's been a busy last couple of weeks planning for Brady's kindergarten Winter Party.  Today was the day...and it was a Blast!  The party started off with the "Pass the Present" game, where the kids all sat in a circle and passed a wrapped box while music played.  When the music stopped, the child with the box got to unwrap it...only to discover it was Another present inside!  {Ha! Kindergarteners are So fun!}  They each had a turn unwrapping until the smallest box revealed presents for the whole class including: bubbles, winter tattoos, personalized pencils, and snowman stickers.
They made lots of crafts including snowmen from their hand prints, fingerprint lights, winter penguins, snow measuring sticks, snowflakes, winter bookmarks, and candy cane reindeer.  They played reindeer games...ha!  No, but they did play "pin the hat and scarf on the penguin," did some snowman bowling, had snowball races by blowing ping pong balls with straws, and tossed ping pong "marshmallows" in to a mug of hot cocoa.  They made their winter snack by decorating a brownie evergreen tree and a banana snowman.
Then they enjoyed their snack in the cafeteria.
Almost too cute to eat!!!

I see you are one of those over achieving room moms! Boy am I remembering those days and almost wishing our kids were still little! Things have certainly changed!
