Let the Vacation Begin!

We're in Orlando!  This picture was taken before we realized that our camera lens (focus) was broken. awesome. ;p  The kids still aren't sure exactly where we are.  Brady heard Alaska from someone and was a little concerned that I hadn't packed appropriately. ha!  Brett wants to surprise them.  Although, the little bugger did hear the flight attendant say, "Orlando, Florida" when we landed.  He's on to us.  After this picture was taken, Sylvie became a major pill and we just weren't up for telling them any big surprises just yet.

When we arrived at the rental car place, the kids were excited to see Mimi (they now know we are in Florida, still don't know all our plans yet).  We went to lunch and got to check-in to the house a little early for some pool time.  Papa was the good sport who got in the pool with the kids, despite the chill in the air.

The $1 store goggles fell apart on one eye.  Little sister thought he looked so cool, that she "broke" her own pair on purpose. haha!

 Mimi introduced the kids to the fav childhood game- Uno!

We pushed the kids' two twin beds together to make them a king (and hopefully then Sylvie won't fall out!) Hooray for rentals- and monkeys jumping on the bed! ;p

 

We did tell them that we'd be going to Legoland tomorrow, and that was a fun surprise (even though none of us really know what to expect since we've never been!)
