Embracing Preschool with Open Arms

Today is Sylvie's first day at Open Arms.  She's Amazing- super excited and just totally awesome!  I showed the kids pictures of Brady's first day this morning, and we captured some of the same moments.  Brady was 2 years, 9 months old when he started with Ms. Tina, Ms. Emilie, and Ms. Ashley in the Sweet Peas room.  Sylvie is 3 years old and she is starting with Ms. Tina and Ms. Ashley, who have moved to the Cherry Blossoms room.  In case you are wondering {b/c Sylvie was, and asked me about it} Brady started in September and not February...hence the difference in seasonal clothes!

Preschool backpack- a must have! :)  

She's stoked to be able to take a blanket and a stuffie to school for nap. 

 She wanted a picture of her clever plan to carry her stuffie since it didn't fit in her mini backpack.

 What a cute little preschooler!  She went right in to the classroom, gave me a hug, said, "Bye Mommy! I love you!  You gonna leave this time? Go now?" (hahaha!) and sat right down for circle time.

Brayden (who is to her left) immediately made space for her and gave her a big hug. :)  Ms. Ashely said, "They've all been talking about her and when she's coming to class.  And I think Bradyden has a little crush on her."  I said that perhaps this is a good thing since Colin Pauley can only be a bff since he's declared that Clara is his girlfriend.  ;p
