Super-friends

We had a super special treat after school today. We got to bring Colton home with us! Melissa (Colton's mom) had back-to-school night tonight and Chad (dad) was out of town. She asked me if I could pick up Colton with Brady...whoohoo! That's fun for us All! It was SUCH a blast. This was our first friend over (without mom) and seriously, I can see now why parents of twins often say it gets easier when they are older. I didn't have to "watch this Mommy" "play ___ with me, Mommy" none of that b/c Brady had his best friend over. Even Sylvie was occupied- chasing not one but Two older brothers around the house and imitating them kept her busy! btw, I love how she says "coh-tin" and another btw, Colton's going to be an Awesome big brother (Melissa's pregnant with Twins!) b/c he was so sweet to Sylvie. She thoroughly enjoyed the extra attention from "another big brother." And just to illustrate how sweet Colton is and how close these boys are, he told his mommy that if one of the babies is a girl, that they should name her Sylvie like Brady's sister. :) So sweet!

I thought I'd be able to put Brady's booster seat in the middle of the two car seats, but there wasn't enough room. Good thing it's only 1/2 mile home. Here's a pict of our extended family's ride home from my phone-

They started out playing baseball. I didn't notice until after I downloaded the picts and viewed them on a larger screen that Colton looks like a real ballplayer in these. lol!

Next they moved on to basketball...with a real laundry basket, that is. ;p

Then they had a jam session (with the cutest little groupie).

"God, our Father; God, our Father
Once again; once again...

We will ask your blessing; We will ask your blessing
Amen; Amen"

"God is Awesome!"

"This is how long Colton's mom has to work tonight."
is what they are saying here.

Boy version of dress-up.
(Colton was loving Brett's old motorcycle helmet.)

and guess what adorable little sidekick jumped in the picture? :p

Kind Colton acknowledged Sylvie's request,
"Coh-tin! Coh-tin! Seat! Seat!"

Boys' bath time!

Little sister had already had her bath.
But she wanted bubbles and "a guy" like the boys.
Okay, baby girl.

Spider-men!

Web-slingers in action

Superhero snack

Even superheroes need to refuel!
(and when they play together as nicely as these boys do,
they get a chocolate chip treat!)
