"breaker, breaker, one-oh-niner" Not that kind of chatter, but it's what I think of when Sylvie says her name. Up until last week, she called herself "Sizzy," which I thought was cute. She now says, "Seebee" for Sylvie, which is very cute too. :)
Her language seemed to grow immensely this past week on vacation. It's still hard to understand her completely if you don't have context. But some things she says just make me laugh.out.loud. Like she randomly started saying, "I got it." this week. When she's trying to do something (take her shoes off, open her yogurt, buckle her seat belt) and then gets it, she says, "Igotit." It's SO cute!
She listens, understands, and digests everything she hears...and then often summarizes in her own funny way. My favorite this week was after we had to discipline Brady and we would tell him he needed time away or a time-out. Later on Sylvie would point to Brady and yell, "Baydee!!! TimeOWt!!" It is h.i.l.a.r.i.o.u.s!
