This is a shot from Papa's camera of the little lady busying herself while we prepared to go this morning. love her.
Brady did pretty well with this game where you reached in, felt the dinosaur, and guessed which one was inside. He remembers the names and correctly recognizes most dinosaurs (again, shout out to Nick Jr! ha! Kids can learn a lot from tv. :p) I only know the basics like T-rex, brontosaurus, etc. But Brady's all, "I want to see the stygimoloch." and "Where's the compsognathus?" "Brachiosaurus is my favorite." (!) Awesome.
Cutie-cake little sis mostly rode along in the stroller, but did like the face cut-outs and kept yelling, "Dino! Dino!" and pointing at what she saw. She totally gets it and I love that she indulges her brother's fascination with the prehistoric creatures and takes an interest in it too.
We found him! Here's the stygimoloch Brady was looking for. When Brady first mentioned him, we were all like, "What is he talking about?" Oh, well here he is! Thanks Dino Dan and Brachiosaurus Brady! :p
The more things change, the more they stay the same. As he did when Brady was 8 weeks old, Brett again offered our first-born child up to the giant plastic teeth-wielding sculptures.
Here in 2008 @ South of the Border with Pedro's crocodile:
Today @ Dinosaur World with the T-rex:
Go figure- all these neat life-like dinosaur sculptures, and Brady requests that I take his picture with the trash can. LOL!
And another "go figure-" one of the things they liked looking at most in Dinosaur World? The fish in the pond- lol!
Lastly, while Sylvie played a little more on the dino playground, Brady participated in a fossil dig. He didn't really get it, but had fun digging in the sand. :p
