Sylvie snoozed in the car and I took pictures while everyone else played tennis. Little sister woke up just in time for Brady to be "done with tennis." So while the mother-son tournament went on (Deanna and Brett vs. Sherry and Connor), this mother and son and daughter went up to the park on top of the hill. Despite the fact that there were a bunch of fun things to play on, we never made it past the authentic railroad car. Brady was playing trash man. He made Sylvie the driver, which worked out fine b/c she mostly stayed in one spot and only used her leg a little bit. He and I were the guys that hung off the back of the truck. We were supposed to jump off at each "stop," pick up the trash cans, and empty the trash in to the truck. It was a fun game and lasted for quite a while!
Afterward, Deanna and I went shopping and the kids played some more at the Rock Resort. Sylvie took a nap, but Brady opted not to.
After naps and shopping, we played in the pool. Aunt DeeDee gave Brady this hilarious pair of new goggles.
Although Brady didn't take a nap, Daddy did! :)
Given all that activity- tennis, playing, swimming, etc. and no nap, Brady was e.x.h.a.u.s.t.e.d. Brady Never sleeps anywhere except his bed. Tonight he snuggled up with Elephant and was out cold on the floor in the dining room next to my chair while we ate dinner...at 7PM! I was so shocked I kept taking pictures of him.
That night we played Wii Resort Games...you know, since we were at the Rock Resort. We also played a dance-off game. Brett and Connor competing was Hilarious. Brett's got moves, he's good...proven as the guys dance off to Spice Girls' Wannabe. "So tell me what you want what you really really want..." The video is dark b/c the room was dark but you sort of get the idea.
