Daddy got home from his business travel to St. Louis this afternoon so was home early to play. whoohoo! Our neighborhood pools don't open until tomorrow, but Brady's kiddie play pool opened today. ;p We hadn't yet put on his swimmie diaper and swim trunks in these pictures. But boy! That giant soggy wet diaper made for an awesome squishy cushy accelerant when we put his slide near the pool. He got air and would have flown right out of the pool if Daddy hadn't had him tethered. He had a blast!
Saturday:
It's official...Memorial Day weekend, summer's here, and the pools are open. Brady had fun at the fountain pool today (the one we finally discovered on closing day last year!). We spent most of our time in the baby pool. It was later in the day and Brady actually had the entire pool to himself for awhile. Not bad for opening day!
"So, what else can we do to kick off summer?"
Watch Romey eat treats?
"Coh-wer! Coh-wer! Oww-sigh?" (Color! Color! Outside?) Brady had his first experience with sidewalk chalk today. He Loved it. I think the combination of the big "coh-wers" (which is both noun for crayon and verb for color- either way he loves to color) and the outdoor factor (he is still a total outdoors kid) made for a guaranteed hit.

The photo of Brady getting air cracked me up! So did the phoenetic spelling of coh-wer 'cause that's how Drea pronounces color. :D
can't wait to play at the pool with you guys!!!
Those have to be the biggest chalks I have ever seen! Glad to see that they still make chalk these days!
Love the pics. Sounds like you guys had a great weekend. Those kiddie pool pics are hilarious!!
