That's what the Snuggle Buddy Bear that Brady's holding in these pictures says. I agree! :)

Let it Snow
We had a brief but beautiful snowfall this morning. It was really weird. When I let Romey outside, there was nothing. 10 minutes later, it was a beautiful winter wonderland. I put Brady in his snowsuit and brought him outside to check it out. He wasn't in love with the wind and cold stuff, but it was fun while it lasted (which was about 20 minutes...by the time we got to daycare, it had stopped!).

A Happy President's Day
Brady and I have a four day weekend together due to daycare being closed for President's Day today. All American boy donned his red, white, and blue and had a happy day. He's laughing in all these pictures because I was shouting to him as I was taking them. I still have a bit of laryngitis from this cold that won't go away and he finds my modified screaming voice hysterical. So silly!

Play That Funky Music White Boy
Happy Valentine's Day!
But as it turns out, the metro stop was still a mile or so from our destination. Not so neat. So we hailed a taxi. I was nervous because we didn't have a car seat...but apparently you don't need one in a cab.We took Brady clubbing in DC for Baby Loves Disco's February event. Yes, at 13 months old the kid is already cooler than his parents...it takes HIS plans to get us out to DC! ha! We drove in, but erroneously parked in NW when we were supposed to be in NE. I vaguely remembered reading that there was metro access on the website. So we hopped on the metro. It was Brady's first time on the train. That was neat.
The public child restraint system = Mommy's tight hug
After ensuring that Brady got the complete tour of DC transportation, we finally arrived at the club and got to see Kellan and Kadyn. A napless Brady was not as enthusiastic about the music as he usually is, but did still find delight in the balloons, bubbles, shaker toys, and yogurt provided. We all had fun partying 'til 4 Friday, February 13, 2009
Ah...FavDay
What a fun day! I had other plans in mind, but wound up just hanging out with my boy. That makes for an Awesome FavDay!
Uh, nope...we're not going anywhere. I just still have not put away the suitcases from our cruise. Climbing in and out of one amused Brady for a good half hour this morning. I told him that given his behavior on the airplane, that might be the next way he goes- cargo baby! :p
All dressed up in the sweater Ms. Omayma gave him for Christmas...adorable!
We went to the mall to hang out for a bit today. As we're walking through Sears, Brady gets really excited and shouts, "Daw!" I'm not looking in the same direction and I say to him, "Um, no I don't think you see a dog Bud. Highly unlikely here in the store." He shouts again and points. Wouldn't you know it? He's right! There's a stuffed dog in the Land's End department. This guy with his white picket fence and artificial grass were a great source of entertainment for Brady and for the people walking by who smiled at the little man's amusement.

A boy and his blocks
I looked at him today playing Legos in his Thomas the Train overalls and thought, "he just looks like such a little boy." I just had to capture the moment...(and of course the runny nose is so typical these days too that it fit in just as well!)

Cutie
He just looked so adorable brushing his teeth with his after-bath mohawk tonight. I couldn't resist a few snapshots before combing it down. :p

Soldier Boy
Can you see Brady in these pictures? You might not be able to because he's wearing his camos. Yup, he could blend right in to the desert or our beige house! :p I Love camos and thought little man looked adorable today in them and his boots. Here are the results of me trying to take his picture as he continues to come straight at me. :)

Funny story
Brett comes in from outside this evening and I say to him, "Someone's grilling cheeseburgers. Did you smell them?"
He leans his head towards Brady and goes, "No. I don't."
"Really?" I say, "because that yummy scent was strong and it totally makes me want a cheeseburger."
"Oh." he says, "I thought that was your new code for Brady's poopy diapers and I couldn't smell it."
ROTFL!
I suppose I do have some weird euphemisms for Brady's dirty dees. Yeah, I'm back to discussing poop again. Bear with me. :p When he was a newborn, his poop smelled like buttered popcorn. (I read that somewhere and totally agreed!) So when he had a dirty diaper, I'd ask him, "Did you go to the movies?" or I'd say, "Somebody has buttered popcorn and I don't know who" and look at him. It's the expression I use. Lately for some reason (maybe the combo of the diaper+diaper cream+poop), at times Brady's dirty diaper smells like breakfast sausage and syrup. So I say, "Somebody made breakfast!" In thinking of these things, I can see why when I said, "Somebody's grilling cheeseburgers." Brett sniffed Brady. LOL!!!! So funny!

Picture Happy
So I went a little picture happy while Brady, Romey, and I were out for our walk this morning. But they're fun...and they make me happy so here they are. :)
