Going Dutch for BRETT'S Birthday

Brett celebrated his 37th birthday the same way Bella celebrated her 6th- at Dutch Wonderland! ha!  Getting some more use out of our season tickets, and taking advantage of this Gorgeous weather (mid 70s, low humidity) it's a great way to celebrate! :)  The kids didn't know; we surprised them and let their DW stuffies tell them what today's plan was...totally thought they were headed to school when we stopped for gas and blew their minds!
Surprise! We're not going to school today; we're going to Dutch Wonderland!!! Brady goes, "Daddy, you want to have your birthday at Dutch Wonderland?" Ha! Happy birthday Daddy!

(and yes, Sylvie was hitting the gummy snacks early {it's a special day!} hence, the blue tongue)

This amusement park trip was a little odd.  It was the first where the kids were separated so much.  We arrived ahead of the Morels; and the kids wanted to ride different things.  (although Sylvie wanted to wait to ride with Brady on her rides, she just didn't want to do things like the space shuttle)  So the boys went their way for a bit and we went ours; which is why I have picts of little sis, but not of Brady.

I only had my phone and the little camera since we're such seasoned DW veterans, and didn't take many picts.

At one point Joy and I thought we lost the Birthday Boy.  Kevin was on the spinning turtles with the kids, but we found him- chilling like it was his birthday! :)

 Birthday Boy did a lot of resting today; here he is making practical use of Sylvie's stroller- ha!
