While shopping the other day, we picked up a much-needed left-handed baseball glove for Brady. Brett's determined to get this kid pitching. He's Really good and Brett says throwing left-handed is a bonus.
Anyway, Brett came up with an awesome idea of not just giving Brady this "present." We're not holding it until Christmas or his birthday. The boys are outside having a catch almost daily...he needs that glove Now! So we made a list of things he could do to earn his prize. He totally understands what the prize is too. He goes, "Oh cool! That's the right-hand glove so I can throw and catch too." and by "right-hand" he doesn't mean his directional right he means right as in correct. :)
So we made a list of 5 things he had to do three times each. Brett wanted to include at least one softball (can you tell Brett's a change/transition management consultant? lol! he's awesome!). So the list included-
Bed without whining
Bath without whining
Eat dinner without arguing (no "aww! that's not my favorite!")
Be kind to Sylvie
Clean-up toys without being told
I forgot to take an intentional picture of it. But the other day the two kids were reviewing the list and they looked so cute in their footie jammies that I took their pict.
