Happy 4th of July!

We went to the Burkes' house this morning and our whole big group walked down to watch the Leesburg 4th of July parade. We've never been before- what fun, and what candy! (I think we got more candy attending the parade than we do trick-or-treating!). It was cute to watch how Sylvie totally got it- she waved her flag, clapped her hands, and wanted a lollipop like her brother (ha! I wouldn't allow it yet though.)

Then we walked back to the Burkes' house where Danisa fed the entire crew lunch and allowed the kids to destroy play in her beautiful home. She even allowed Brady to go "shopping" in the basement! (She gave him a bag to fill up with Thomas trains and tracks to borrow from Kellan. omg! The kid is in Heaven! Thank you Danisa and Kellan + Henry!)

Later that night we were going to watch another public fireworks display, but instead opted to just hang out at home, eat s'mores, light some sparklers, and watch the personal displays in our neighborhood. As you can probably tell, Brady was the photographer again and was pleased with his wacky subjects.
