It's a Wesley weekend! :) It was pretty hot out today so we met up with Wesley, from Brady's preschool class, at the Air and Space Museum. James, Wesley's dad, and I were joking saying that we could have taken our kids to the mall on this hot day to let them burn some energy...but we prefer to say, "We took the kids to a museum" you know, b/c we're cultured like that. ha! Really, it's just wide open (air-conditioned) space for them to run around in and the airplanes are pretty cool to see. Sylvie liked it too!
Papa again graciously let Brady play photographer- so here's proof that I was there too. :) Brady's self-portraits are getting pretty good.
This evening, we gave the kids their baths and then totally confused them by taking them out in their jammies. ha! Well, that's not part of the usual bedtime routine. They were hanging out on the couch laughing it up about something and Papa took a few picts.
We then went to Lansdowne Resort for a really awesome fireworks display. This was the first professional display the kids had ever seen and the first professional display we adults had seen in a while. The kids both liked it and they both did great...although poor Syl-syl was completed exhausted- out cold in the stroller as we walked back to the car and we didn't hear a peep out of her until morning.
