I think Websters should add these "Brady originals" to the dictionary b/c they are actually pretty appropriate:
pantreat: (n.) a room or closet in which food, groceries, and other TREATS are kept
a.k.a. pantry
cellephone: (n.) a mobile telephone system that Daddy often uses to talk to "his friends"
a.k.a. cell phone / telephone
cutie-cake: (n.) a synonym for cutie pie; sweetie; a girl who is cute
sample usage: "Sylvie is a cutie-cake!"
(Brett always says, "Sylvie is a cutie-pie." Brady was trying to say this on his own and said, "Sylvie is a cutie-cake!" LOL! Indeed, she is!)
maked: (n.) [pronounced mey-kid; sounds like naked] referring to a bed being without sheets or blankets; as in a naked or unmade bed
(We usually say, "nudey" but Brady is familiar with the word, "naked." Additionally, I've been talking to him about making the bed, explaining that we pull the sheets and blankets up and straighten them out. The other night he says, "Oh no! Mommy, my bed is maked!" huh? I go up there to discover his sheet and blanket are on the floor and he wants the bed made. So the bed is without bedding...you know, it's maked.)
