Happy Birthday Sylvie! In this picture, you can't tell that our sweet Sylvie is now our smiling Sylvie. She has been smiling since day one. She'd get a big ole' grin on her face as she was falling asleep and sometimes it was even accompanied by a mini giggle, a sort of "heh" sound. so so so cute! But in the past few days she's started smiling responsively. LOVE it!

I caught a partial smile later on today...maybe she thinks it's funny to have spit-up in her pictures. ha!

She's continuing to eat well. When Dr. Kim saw her this afternoon at her wellness appointment she said, "oooo! Sometimes breastfeeding makes the fattest cutest babies!" Then she said, "oops! Sorry, you are not fat Sylvie. You are perfectly healthy and sturdy." :) Indeed. It appears Sylvie may also be teething. What?! Crazy! When she was born Brett said he felt like he could see her teeth below her gums. The doctor confirmed that her gums are puffy and that there appears to be a tooth trying to push up. @ TWO months?! Totally crazy.
