Mimi took us all to Cirque du Soleil for our birthdays.  So awesome!

Aquarium

Evening @ the Beach

We went to the beach after dinner this evening (Mimi's back home after the weekend away celebrating Josiah's birthday!).  Mom and I took a nice long walk on the beach and saw some super cool wind-wakeboarders.  Brett and the kids built a sand castle until it was too dark to see and the rain started pelting us all!

 

 

 

Vacation Naps

Sylvie still takes an afternoon nap.  While we were on vacation she never officially laid down for a nap, but was guaranteed to pass out if we were in the car in the afternoon. ;p  It was fun for me to be a backseat passenger with them while Mimi played chauffeur.

Daytona Lagoon

It's pretty hot in August in Florida!  Today we spent the day @ Daytona Lagoon, a waterpark to cool off.  We were in the water (pretty much) the whole day b/c it was the only want to stay cool; hence not many picts.  It was fun hanging out in the wave pool, riding down the tubes and slides, and playing with kids all day (I still refuse to learn to play Pokemon, but war with Pokemon cards was pretty fun with a certain cute little six-year old!).  :)

Wise Guy

I wanted to go to the flea market on my birthday.  I love that place! :)  Brady tried on a hat for me.  cutie.

Beach Day Repeat

It was so fab...and all the kids want to do anyway, so we did it again today (minus the jaw-jarring accident, of course!).

Sylvie was preparing "smoothies" to order. Brady was driving his toys through the sand.  Brett was feeding birds and digging holes.  SUCH kid fun @ the beach- SO awesome!

First Stop- Beach

It's our first full day here...so of course we're going to the beach!  "Go to the beach" was the #1 thing (and really the only thing that mattered to him) on Brady's Summer To-Do List.  So relaxing!

 

 I think Brett has just as much, if not more, fun than the kids at the beach!

 

First day here and Sylvie has busted up my mouth!  I'm freaking out a little bit.  I was holding her while she jumped the waves.  Well, she jumped before I was ready and her skull hit my jaw so hard I saw stars!  I could not feel the teeth in my mouth and could only taste blood.  I had to ask my mom to check if all my teeth were still in there.  I couldn't feel anything for about 45 minutes.  Days later it was still hurting.  My molars no longer align and I cannot bite down and two teeth are wiggly.  Oh goodness, adult teeth are not supposed to be wiggly.  Of course, this happened on our first day here!  doh.  But we're on vacation...so I cannot complain!! :)
