The kids and I took the metro in to meet up with them. (But with a metro detour and the crowds, he was actually finished before we even got there! Yes, he's That good! And he was crazy...was texting us updates and sending us picts while he was running. He's amazing! We are SO proud! His goal was to finish in under 90 minutes...and at 84 minutes he did just that. You are Awesome, Brett!
The metro station we parked at was closed; so we were detoured with a bus ride. We had the whole bus to ourselves. (the kids thought this was super cool!) They sat in the all-the-way back. ;p
They were loving it...no car seats and they could stand up. lol!
The metro was super fun too.
(Can you tell it was pretty cold early in the morning...then it got really hot!)
