Hounds in Our Hood

The Loudoun Hounds event that we went to in Colton's neighborhood came to our neighborhood this evening.  So we took Colt with us this time.  Since the weather was cooler, it was not crowded at all.  This made for some awesome Fetch face time, multiple balloon animals after multiple poppings, full-on face paint, batting as often as we wanted to, and winning the Fetch's Quest game all together.  whoohoo!
Our winning team got hats-

She Loves Fetch...but she drew the line when he asked for some of her pizza. ha!

It's Official

It's official; we're on the market.  This has been a crazy emotional time for me.  I'm not going to go in to it all here b/c it really still isn't very coherent.  (Just ask Brett...when I try to explain it to him, it only confuses him more b/c I just start crying.)  But anyway, here we go!

Twirl and Tumble 5

Is it "Dance Class Day?" Sylvie always asks me.
"Yes, it is today, sweet bunny!"

Happy 5th Birthday Colton!

We were at Sport Bounce today to celebrate Colton's 5th birthday!
Playchair, dress-up hat- whatever!  :p
Sylvie and Colin- about the cutest thing.Ever!
They were actually too short to go on this thing- but that didn't stop them.
It was kind of hilarious to see their tiny bodies go whizzing down!
If the above two are the cutest thing ever,
these two below are the craziest thing-
Um, Cameron is going down like a luge, backwards! yikes!
Look at Sylvie!  Can you see her in there?
I think she might be even closer to the cake than birthday king Colton is!
BFFs and cousin Kellan-
Happy Birthday Colt!

Picture Day- Fall 2012

Today Brady has school pictures.  I'm taking Sylvie over there so they can get photographed together.  We took a few practice shots at home.
Photo credit: Brady.  Good job, bud!
These are a little out of focus (poor Brady had to hold that honkin' big camera!), but I love these b/c I remember how tightly Sylvie was squeezing me.  She requested, "huggie! huggie!  Tight squeeze, Mommy!"

Sylvie's shirt is actually a size 6-12 mo dress that Ms. Allison gave to her.
Loved it then, and still Love it now!
Since I'm back-blogging, I can post the actual picts that came home this week-
o.m.g. love!
(even if our scanner makes the color off a bit
and I probably should have fixed B's hair!)

Puzzling

Suffice to say- Sylvie is a Puzzle Master!  She's Amazing with those things!  One of the funniest things I've seen her do is flip all the pieces upside down (so there's no picture to look at) and then with her savant little mind she looks at the shapes and quickly assembles the puzzle.  It's hilarious...and impressive!  Brady knows that she's the queen of puzzles too.  He often says, "I'm not as good at puzzles as Sylvie."  Today he was attempting the Chuggington puzzle (another find at the consignment sale dollar dash).  This puzzle is weird- it's one of those where the image changes, so I think it's pretty hard to do.  Anyway, so Brady is doing the puzzle and I'm watching Sylvie exercising every bit of self-restraint to try and let Brady do it himself.  She just couldn't help herself and had to help him though.  Her verbal coaching and "hints" were hilarious.  "No, no, no Brady, not dare!"  "Yes, yes, yes, dat one!"

Twirl and Tumble 4

Yes, there will be picts of our tiny dancer Every week b/c #1 she's so darn cute, #2 we have a bunch of dance outfits now between Mimi's gifts and consignment sale finds, and #3 I can't get enough of it!  :)
How about this ($1 Dash consignment sale find) sassy jacket?!
Sure, it's actually a made up position...
but it's Sylvie's "I'm taking a dance class picture pose."

When we got home, she changed to her Mary Janes and wore the tiara-comb from Maya's birthday party last year.  She put it on herself and said, "Take a pitch-a please Mommy! Cheeeese!"
