I have fond memories of being a Girl Scout Brownie and my mom leading our troop. I now lead Sylvie's Girl Scout Daisy Troop (#4794). Daisies came about ~10 years ago and are for kg and 1st graders. Our troop has eight girls in it- five of whom are our neighborhood friends (So Awesome!); one is Sylvie's friend from swim team; and the other is the other leader's daughter. We meet at their school on the first and third Thursdays of the month. This afternoon we had our first meeting. The girls made their Daisy backpacks and we got to know each other a bit. They're a great bunch of girls!
