Lemonade Stand

Childhood rite of passage...operating a lemonade stand on this most gorgeous day! Thank you to all our friends and other fellow community members who supported this "local business" today! :)

Of course they could have used a card table, but it's Brett and he goes, "eh, I had 2x4s and plywood just lying in the garage anyway." I think he was pleased that this project didn't require any trips to Home Depot and was completed in less than half an hour. ;p

John Cusack-style salesdude
"thank you" ...again kg skills coming in handy!
At first he wanted to hold a sign (I think he wanted to be like those sign spinners- ha!) That lasted about 3 minutes until his arms were tired and he said, "Daddy, can you get the hammer and some nails?"
Yes, Sylvie is literally eating in to their profits. Sister just can't help herself! (or rather, she CAN help herself...to the cookies!)
Their first customer was Mr. Tom! (and he drove by three more times and became a repeat customer. We Love Mr. Tom!)  Brady goes, "Wow! He must really like our lemonade and cookies!"  ...or he's just an awesome person and a good friend!  :)
These activities are THAT much more fun (and profitable) when your best gal pal comes across the street to help man the store, pose for picts, and flag down customers.
Mission accomplished.  I think they made like $15 (again, many of which were generous donations {one cool lady even gave a $2 bill!}).  Sylvie's portion went in to her piggy bank.  Brady bought the Legos he'd set out to obtain that morning. :)
