Baby Bunnies

While Brett was planting new plants around the patio, he heard a mewing sound and carefully looked under the mulch.  Itty bitty baby rabbits were nesting there!  We read up on it and determined they had to be under three weeks old (these things were seriously newborn..wet, ears back, eyes closed).  We read that Mama comes back @ dusk and dawn to nurse them, but keeps them hidden.  Brett covered them back up and we left out some carrots for Mama (in attempt to dissuade her from eating more of our flowers).  so sweet!  This is what they looked like when Brett found them on June 29-

Just 10 days later, and the babies are growing...they are more fluffy now.  The kids were petting them today- ha! :)
