A Dutch Wonderful Day at the ER :(

We met up with pals at Dutch Wonderland today for Colton's 6th birthday.  Within five minutes of catching up with everyone, before we even got on the first ride, Sylvie needed stitches and we left for the ER.  :(  She was running and fell down near a tree with a wood planter around it.  She got a nasty gash near her left eye that a bandaid just wouldn't hold.  So we had our first trip to the ER with Sylvie today.  Brett and Brady stayed and played, while sweet Ms. Tiffany went along with us and kept me calm. :) Sylvie was a total trooper, despite spending three hours at the hospital waiting instead of riding rides at an amusement park!  She even made a new friend in the waiting room and played games on my iPhone with him.

I mean, really?!  She's so awesome!
The Dutch Wonderland first aid station gave her a minion bandaid...but her wound was still bleeding through it. :(
 Poor bunny :(
First they cleaned it out with water...and she Laughed!  The PA said, "Can you do that again?  It actually is squeezing the wound together."  ;p
Although she was relieved to not have stitches (no shot), she was a little worried about the glue b/c she heard the PA say it might sting a bit.  She did great though; only cried a tiny bit.
It looks a bit worse than it really is b/c the glue is purple, some blood got caught underneath, and she was crying so some tears got trapped too.  Oh sweet girl.
At first she just wanted to go home, or for me to carry her, or to only ride in the stroller.  But then she wanted to see Colin and then the pair made up for lost time at the park by riding this space ride 14 times in a row- seriously.
She requested the Sky Ride too, and although it makes me nervous, we went on.  Two pairs of Chuckies high in the sky-
Oh, how I love you sweet baby girl.
Out cold on the way home within 5 minutes of getting in the car (@ 6 PM).  This "evening nap" worked out well and they had a snack before washing up and going to bed on this school night.
