Happy Halloween 2014!

Trick or treating 2014...Brady Mined for candy, while Sylvie used The (cute) Force. ;p
Grandma stayed home to pass out candy (b/c leaving a bowl out last year did Not work at all).
Steve (from Minecraft) appears to think he's a model on a runway. ;p
 "Trick or treat!"
This year Brady's intention was to get as much candy as possible to sell it back to our dentist.  He was on a mission!  "More candy, more candy!" but not for the typical reason. lol!
Not far in to the trek around the neighborhood, Brady handed Papa his mask and then his sword.  So he was pretty much a cute first-grader asking for candy tonight.  :)

Sylvie's Halloween Parade

It was the year of Elsa for girls and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for boys.  I love that Sylvie stands out along with her little girl BFF Autumn, who was a pink Power Ranger.

Our Snowman at Night...In a Parade

Brady's school has a Book Character Parade on Halloween.  He chose a character from one of his favorite books- Snowmen at Night.  Another homemade costume...not too shabby for someone who doesn't sew!  I used stitch witchery to "sew" two of Brett's old t-shirts together so I could stuff them.  I cinched the waist and bottom to form the snowballs.  He looks pretty darn cute if you ask me!

Disney on Ice: Frozen

Tonight we took the kids to see Disney on Ice: Frozen.  We ALL LOVED it!  Of course we love the story and the music, and it was super fun to see an ice skating live performance of it!
She's ready...and cute as ever!

  "Let it Go!"

The announcer encouraged the crowd to take a lot of selfies.  We obliged...b/c we couldn't get a good one.  But it was fun trying!  Family Selfie!

The blow-up ice monster was hysterical!  (so was Sven)

Halloween Preview

It took just some minor convincing, but Sylvie is going to be Princess Vadar for Halloween this year.  (SO awesome!)  I made her costume by pulling a few things together and putting her fun duct tape on a shirt for the control panel buttons. :)  We were going to paint her mask pink, but the paint wasn't sticking so well.  Grandma suggested eyelashes and blush...Perfect!  (and go figure- the rhinestone diamond nose was already on this mask I ordered for $5 on eBay!)
Here's a preview tonight for Allie's birthday party.  The boots/skirt combo is still up for discussion.  She likes the heart boots b/c they are new, but I think they are actually slippers- ha!
The (pink) force is strong with this one!
