First up, oh yes...another egg hunt!
As if that wasn't enough fun! This year the Easter Bunny hid the kids baskets, but left them clues to track them down! I think this will be a fun tradition! This
inaugural basket search started off with some hilarity. At the mention
of the scavenger hunt, Sylvie claimed she needed her magnifying glass
and then Brady requested binoculars. She kept walking around going,
"whoa! Every ting is SO BIG!" and I can only imagine that Brady's
vantage point was the opposite since he consistently uses binoculars
backwards. :pSo that I remember...here's the scavenger hunt clues. (That crazy bunny had them going upstairs, then downstairs, then upstairs again, then downstairs- ha! {by design, of course...gotta work for your sugar!})
Hop, Hop, Hop Where are your Easter baskets?
I've hidden them away!
To find them, look where you scrub-a-dub-dub at the end of the day!
Nope, they're not here, but you're on the right path I think!
The next step is to look with the dirty dishes in this sink!
You've found the next clue, but no basket is here.
Just keep looking, have no fear!
Maybe you should take a look
on the shelf where Brady keeps all of his books!
You want to find them, I know that's what you wish.
Have you looked inside of Romey's food dish?
Hmm, you've found another clue!
Just keep looking whatever you do!
The next clue is hiding next to the butter and cheese...
or by the milk and yogurt, whatever you please!
If while you are looking, you get a spot on your shirt,
the next place to go is the machine that washes away all of your dirt!
I can tell you are close, the end is near I feel!
Maybe the baskets will be where we'll eat our next meal?
Has this scavenger hunt been fun?
I hope so, we're almost done!
A thought just popped in my head-
maybe they're hiding in the castle that's next to your bed!
Light saber lollipops!
Tangled DVD!
(We just started watching family movies recently. Sylvie Loves this one; we all do!)

Sylvie's consistent quote after opening eggs she'd already eaten the treat out of: "Jesus before was in 'dare. But not anymore! He rose again! See? It's a empty tomb!"
Daddy and Papa worked in the basement making the fireplace all afternoon. Grandma and I cooked a little and the kids played...and ate candy- ha!
Easter fam foto!
First use of the dining room; a fun perspective!
'Til next year, rarely-used-room! ;p
