Cookies for Santa

Sylvie Loves baking (and helping me...she's such a good girl!). She helped cut out the cookies for Santa today and loved every minute.

Then they decorated...again, Sylvie was thrilled; Brady did about 10 or so and then had his fill of the activity. ;p

I subscribed Sylvie to a charity craft program called Little Loving Hands. I'm not sure how long we will do it since it's $25/month. But she Loves making crafts and this company sends you a craft kit monthly. You make the kit for a sick child and mail it back to the charity. So it's fun for her and is doing good too! This was the first month- she made a seek and find toy.

We have a few presents under the tree, at the kids request (the ones they made in school, and with the Carlins, and a few we are giving to each other). That's where Gingerbear was today too. :)

The Force Awakens

So Gingerbear's shepherd costume doubles as Jedi gear. WIN!

We saw Star Wars: The Force Awakens today. It was Awesome!

That's my Ewok...from like 30 years ago she brought along with her to snuggle. :)

Whoa 8!

This newly minted 8 year old is just growing up too fast! I mean, he has a MUSTACHE already! ;p
I "mustache" time to slow down! (Mimi gave him these silly mustache stickers to play with- HA!)

8 Year Old Getting Paid!

Brady popped his birthday balloons this morning (with Sylvie's help). We started this a few years ago- the birthday kid gets $1/balloon for each year old they are. It's fun! The force was definitely with these Star Wars balloons...they were tough to pop!
