Lake Anna

We day-tripped to the Pauleys' lake house today.  What awesome fun!!!  We all jumped in the lake and swam almost immediately upon arrival- and stayed there pretty much the whole day.  The kids had a Blast jumping off the dock.  Empowered with her life vest, Sylvie was fearless!  She jumped right in and her look of surprise, joy, and pride when she surfaced and doggie-paddled to me is a mental picture I hope I never forget!  so.darn.cute.

There was a persistent uninvited house guest that kept the daddies busy for quite a while.  Mr. Ray got to be a pro at snake wrangling! ;p

The Great Big Mable was quite a hit! (with the kids AND me- LOVE tubing!!)  Here they are just hanging out on it and jumping from it as it's tethered to the dock-

This is one of my favorite shots!  Chad goes, "It's like Brady is flying Evan like a kite or Evan is tethered to Brady like a Macy's float!"  That made me LOL, but I do remember seeing the scene from the water and yelling at Brady Not to grab Evan's life vest as he's jumping in.  Just look at Evan's form!

And here we are being towed by the pontoon boat.  OMG, this was SO.MUCH.FUN!!!!!  My face hurt from smiling so much!  We stopped near the power plant and went swimming.  The kids all jumped off the boat.  Again mental image (not picts) of Sylvie and Colin holding hands and jumping off the boat "cliff" together is precious!  Love them!

Seriously, what an awesome day!  The kids watched a movie and we all hung out for a bit. We hit the road at about 7:30, and the kids were out cold before we even got to the end of the Pauleys' street (just as Chad and Kristin said they'd be)!  Fantastic!  Thank you Pauleys!!  We loved this time together and we love you!!!

Super Saturday

Sylvie's psyched for Nicholas's Avengers birthday party later this afternoon.  So this morning she played superhero dress with some of the capes from Brady's 5th birthday party.  She coordinated them with her pajamas and then her clothes- haha, she's so awesome!

Nicholas's 4th birthday party was at JW Tumbles and was superhero themed.  Nicholas is one of Sylvie's BFFs at school; she'll be sad when he moves up to the 4 year old class in September. :(  But today, we celebrated her pal!

 The zipline was a Huge hit!
