Our Little League

We met up with some school pals to burn some energy and play today.  Everyone sort of scattered and did their own thing, but it's always fun to get together anyway!  At one point, Evan and Cameron were walking the track, Maddie, Brayden, Carter, and Haylie were playing on the jungle gyms, Sylvie, Colin, and baby Emily were just hanging out with the moms and Brady was hitting baseballs while three dads played infield.  It was awesome (and cuter than the pictures show)...

 Then we invaded the Pauleys' awesome house for lunch and more play time (for kids and adults!).

 Before the rain came, the fellas were hanging out on the deck,

 while the kids were rocking out in the clubhouse 

(that's Carter doing karoake Tao Cruz Dynamite...SO cute!)

Kristin printed "Jake, the Never Land Pirate" coloring pages for the kids, then cut them out, and made puppets out of them by attaching craft sticks.  (Is she awesome or what?! I mean, who has craft sticks on hand?! Supermom Kristin!)  Here the kids are showing us their pirate puppets (while little Colin's attempt to be seen has Brett a little panicked- ha!).

This was their idea- to really show their puppets as they hide behind the couch.  

Are they cute or what?!

They ended up in the basement in the "kids workout room," as Carter called it, and playing with Chad's "original West VA toy" that was a Huge hit (yes, it's 7 ft of PVC pipe and marbles...endless fun!!!).
