4th Fireworks

Happy 4th of July!  It was so hot out tonight that we decided not to fight crowds for a public fireworks display.  (and since I'm back-blogging, I'll report that we did see a public display on Friday 7/6- it was awesome...and we got to sit right in our air-conditioned car from a perfect viewing location right on the road!)  There are usually some pretty good displays right in our neighborhood and we supplemented with a some little fun ones.  The grands, the kids, and Brett went shopping before dinner-

Last week we bought poppers and silly string for our vacation...we pulled them out this evening and it was a snappin' stringin' good time!  Here's Daddy pretending to sneeze all over the kids!  LOL!
