Fall 2014 picts of our 1st grader and pre-KGer...first time they don't have a pict together b/c they are not in the same after-school care. bummer.

 

The Company I Keep

I might be spending too much time with preschoolers and first-graders (wait, impossible...no such thing as too much of this good thing!) Although today at work while I was facilitating a webinar, I labeled participants as "friends" and said, "I'm stalling a little bit here while we wait for our other friends to join us." "Hopefully now all our friends can see the presentation online and hear me on the phone." HA! Nonetheless, it was a successful "circle time" and I think all "our friends" learned a lot...And now it's nap time...just kidding! ;p

Happy Birthday Papa!

We went to dinner at Bonefish b/c Sylvie wanted to go through the "really cool door" (revolving door), then had cake at home to celebrate Papa's birthday!

 He's your son, Papa! ;p

 

 

 

Soccer Sylvie

Still adorable...and seriously good.  Brett goes, "And to think she's this good (meaning she can actually dribble and run) when she only plays soccer for 40 minutes on Saturdays.  If she was like Brady and wanted to play all the time, she'd be Mia Hamm!"

 

Soccer Game

Today is one of the few days that we're not dashing off to a football game, so I took a couple picts @ the soccer game.  Brady has learned a great deal in the Academy Skills training (on Friday nights), and has applied much of what he's learned.  He goes to players with the ball and forces them to act.  Then sometimes he's able to use his fancy foot skills to take the ball away and turn it down field his way.  He continues to play the field well- watching for open spots, hustling to where he needs to be, assisting goals, and taking more shots on goal now too.  It sure it fun to watch him!

We ran in to the Hicks clan at the farm!  What an awesome surprise!

 

 

 

Apparently Brady invented the "get dirty" game...sliding face first down the slide in to a mud puddle.  Fall fun at it's best.

 Again, pretty typical...goofiness (even from Papa this time...who pulled a Brady and popped back there yelling, "Photobomb!")  LOL!
