Poppies @ the Park

We met up with some of our preschool pals (the Davis, Pauley, and Ehlert fams) at Frying Pan Farm Park today.  I was too busy visiting with my pals to take too many picts- ha!

Giggle Girl

Spring Soccer Season Starts

We signed Brady up for organized soccer this spring...and signed ourselves up to coach!  We're ready to go, but first a few picts-
I coordinated Sylvie's clothes with our red/white/black.  :)

These truly awesome photos were taken by Graeme.  (Brady's pals Cameron and Evan are on the team with him...this Definitely makes it more fun for him, and us too!!)  The boys were showing each other their shorts- haha!

 Ice cream cone game
 "We Love Soccer!" post-practice cheer
 Snack...most of the kids favorite part, including this adorable little fan! :)

No Pants, No Problem!

I asked her what she was doing and her response was, "Going to the gwo-swee stoy"  (Sylvie grossly distorts her "r's" these days.  "are" sounds like "oi."  Even as a former speech therapist (who was annoyed when parents said things like this), I think it's cute.  :p  But of course she's ready to go- with her sunglasses on (who cares if they're upside down?).  And I believe the policy is "no shoes, no shirt, no service"  Nobody said anything about a pants requirement! :p  Or maybe she thinks the grocery store sells pants?  I don't know- either way, she's darn cute!

Picture Day- Spring 2012

 He's appeasing me here...
b/c I promised he could play golf if he'd pose for a minute.

 He LOVES his golf glove.  It's adorable.
 If I knew anything at all about golf, I'd say this is good form?
 This is "copycat" form.  Monkey see, monkey do.
And b/c I'm so behind on posting, here's the actual picts...

Fam Fotos

We went for a color-blocking Easter egg look this year.
How Fun!!
(and Sylvie and I were loving wearing our fun shoes...
hers were in her Easter basket;
Brady was in his "best" shoes;
and we just made Daddy go along with us- haha!)

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter, my little bunnies!

And they're off on the Easter egg hunt. I was trying to avoid the craziness that resulted from candy-packed eggs we had at the neighborhood egg hunt. Although she does LOVE her some "cannee!" as she says, Sylvie also gets excited when she shakes the egg and realizes, "day-ah's sum-ting in day-ah!!!" These eggs had special sweet Cheerios, WhoNu/Oreo cookies, lollipops, and coins.
Brady did ask where Mommy and Daddy's Easter baskets were. I said that we were saving money. In response, when Brady found the coins in some of the eggs, he goes, "Here Daddy this is for you!" (so sweet!) Brett says, "No buddy, it's yours. You can put that in your piggy bank." Brady replies, "But I want YOU to have money!" Well alrighty then, we will put that nickel in to savings. :)
Putting their $ into their piggy banks. Brady was very sweet and gave some of his money to Sylvie "I want her to have it. So she can put it in her piggy bank." :)

The two larger (hand-me-down) presents were
a very real-like dollie stroller-

and a ride-on/pedal bulldozer-

Then we went over to Grandma and Papa's and had another Easter egg hunt, yummy lunch and dinner, and more Easter baskets (this time for Mommy and Daddy too!). Thank you Grandma and Papa!!
