Rock Star Drama

We're getting out of the car tonight and I insisted the kids pick up everything they saw.  (They constantly leave piles of school stuff and well just their stuff in my car.)  Sylvie took it upon herself to handle most of it and said, "Uh, look at me. I cannot carry one more thing."  This is what our dramatic rock start looked like walking in the door-

Veterans Day

Patriotic Hello Kitty!

Go figure- we have this holiday off, but Brady has school (of course he did have two days off last week for teacher workdays). After I saw him for center time, where I've been going in and working with the kids, we all met him for lunch in the cafeteria.  What a fun surprise!

Then we allowed him to be a walker and he walked home from school for the first time with me.  That was pretty cool!  We came back home and woke up a napping Sylvie and Daddy and then went to the movies to see Big Hero 6 (awesome movie...pretty emotional...Sylvie and I were bawling!).

 

Kid Stuff

I hear this giggling...and bouncing and I turned to see it's footie-clad Sylvie having a terrific time sliding down the carpet steps in her jammies.  I used to Love to do this when I was little and it cracked me up to find her delighting in the same thing!

 

Self Stylist

Lately Sylvie wants to pick out her clothes herself.  (I still pick out Brady's clothes.)  But she wants No help...at all, like I cannot even be upstairs while she's in her closet deciding.  I let her choose by herself today, b/c we don't have any plans and I figured no one would see her anyway- lol!  She always wants to wear a dress, but has discovered that it's a little chilly lately.  I have told her that some jeans can go under some dresses.  Here's what she came up with.  Actually it's pretty cute...and she's darn cute...so she can pull this off-

Wegmans Kids Cooking Class

This is our first time going to one of the cooking classes Wegman's conducts.  Today's menu was grilled vegetable queso, shrimp guacomole, and a yogurt parfait.  The kids had a great time and we all really enjoyed their cuisine!

We just opened the package of clothes Mimi sent and Sylvie dressed herself from the assortment.  Not bad at all, sister!

Noah's Birthday Party

Brady went to a gaming party @ Noah's this afternoon.  Eve posted some picts.  It looks like they had a blast!  Boys and video games...how could they not??  Eve sent video of this too...they are regretting their decision to blitz here.  They're going, "Why did we blitz?!  NO!!!!"  so funny!

 

Loudoun Soccer Jamboree

Brady's fall soccer season ended today with a jamboree @ the LS Park.  It was cold!  We were playing a new team from the Leesburg league...and go figure, it was Kellan's team!  We used to hang out with the Burkes when the boys were babies!  So fun to see them again!
