Happy New Year!!!

Happy 2014! The Duncans, Ehlerts, Pauleys, Mayhews, and Morels came over to ring in the new year. We all (kids included) rocked it (with Just Dance, karaoke, and hanging with our besties) until 1 AM...and then slept in until 10 AM. FAB start to the new year!!!

'Tis the Season...for Visiting!

We've had a full house with a revolving door these past few weeks...it's exhausting and the most.fun.ever!  I love it!  This evening the Sommers, Joscelynes, and Barnuevos came to play and visit.  It's so awesome how these kids either just met or haven't seen each other since they were babies, yet they're instant pals!

 

Visits

It's SO fun having Mimi here to play with it.  Costumes required.  I only have a crown, but Mimi is a full-on participant right up to the fairy wings!

The Abrahams also stopped in to play while they're in NoVa from NJ. we went to play outside b/c it's 60 degrees out today- amazing!

On His Weatherly Way

We had to return Weather Bear this afternoon.  Sylvie was a trooper and handled this well.  (She has SO loved him these past two weeks...yes Two...Ms. Tina let us keep him an extra {holiday} week b/c she knew Sylvie was loving him so much!)

Tacky Happy Hour

As the final recipients of the tacky Christmas decorations, it was our responsibility to host happy hour.  (and so cute b/c Sylvie was all.over.this.  From the moment I told her this "game" was going on, she was so excited and kept saying, "I want Us to be last!  Then we get ALL the pretty decorations.  Let's have happy hour!" and it was SO funny hearing an almost four-year old talking about happy hour).  :)  Tonight was the night that worked best for everyone, so the day after Christmas we welcomed 13 families to our house.  (Thank goodness for Mimi!!  She was phenomenal during this party.  HUGE help with everything so I could actually have a chance to visit!)  I only took one random picture when I thought of it.

The Grands Gingerbread Continues

sort of...we were a little late this year and it was a giant Gingerbread man instead of a house, and Brady didn't want to do it- lol!  But Sylvie sure did have fun (as always)!
