Happy 5th Birthday Allie!

Today we celebrated Allie's birthday with a pool party!  Awesome! (and again for the third weekend in a row, the preschool party where we are all invited was timed perfectly with two house showings. I'm back-blogging so I can say too- that one of these showings was a return showing who saw our house three weeks ago and was our third appt) will turn in to a contract.  I'm not sure how I feel about that...so I'll just keep quiet for now.  Yes, crazy Emo-Mommy operating here!)  :p  No picts from the pool, but a few from the party-

Trunk or Treat @ OA's Fall Fest

(btw, Mimi arrived on Thursday for a week long visit!  whoohoo!  I was terrible about taking picts, but wanted this documented.)  This morning we went to Brady's school for the Fall Festival and for Trunk or Treat.  The kids dressed up.  They both just raided their dress-up boxes for costumes today.  That's way cool- no need for us to buy anything, and they didn't even ask...they were just excited to dress up.  Sylvie is a pretty princess and Brady is the red Power Ranger.  We don't know the Power Rangers at all (have never seen the show), but the hand-me-down costume was in the box, and it's what B wanted.  That's cool dude!

As Brett was watching the Littlest Luhring have her make-up applied, he said, "It's pretty amazing that at two years old she sits so still and waits patiently for face-painting."  Yes, she's properly motivated...and so darn cute!

 

Several teachers asked Sylvie is she had enough jewelry on...hmm, just about Every piece in the dress-up box?  I'd say yes!  Pretty Princess!

Who is this masked man??  Brady got a mask painted on since he wasn't really in to wearing the one that came with the costume.  Cool!

As if we didn't get enough candy yesterday! {We had to be out of the house for a showing and we decided to go to the Broad Run Homecoming parade...omg, no need to go trick-or-treating! I should've brought my camera...and a bag to hold the entire grocery bag full of candy we collected as parade watchers! crazy!}  Anyway, more candy from Trunk or Treat-

Yup, I'm taking pictures of this fashionable little lady with cute crazy morning hair!  Darn you extended Daylight Saving Time- it's well after 7 AM and is like pitch black outside. wild!

Kristin (mom of three boys!) gave us this awesome bag of clothes for Sylvie from one of her other friends.  SO many cute and fun things!  This week the weather is in the 80s!  So we busted out some of the new summer clothes that were in the bag from Kristin.  Yes, the little miss is stylin'.  Love it!
